Hi! My name is John. Currently I attend Rhodes State College and The Ohio State University. I am an education major at OSU.
I have many different hobbies. I love working with and even building computers. I have built my own desktop computers since 2005. Not only do I build computers, I also am interested in the software that runs on them. The first time I used Ubuntu Linux was back in late 2005, although I did not use Linux regularly since 2007. The News Source's websites and their maintenance have been a hobby of mine since 2001. In addition to The News Source's websites, I also maintain my church, Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, website and Vacation Bible School sites.
I enjoy taking care of my pets. I have had my aquarium in operation since 2000. I presently have neons tetras and other tetras in the 20 gallon tank. In the basement I have two gerbils. One is brown and is currently unnamed and the other is black and named Michelle. I have had both gerbils since early 2011.
If you've been around me for any length of time, you will know I LOVE Christmas and everything involving it! Every year for the past few years I have tried to build a bigger and better outside Christmas light display. In 2010 I had 10,300 lights in total including the lights inside. New for 2011 is an animated light show synchronized to music starting in September 2011 with the "Pre-Halloween" light show.
